Rainier Athletes wanted to update the branding of this event to be less hyper focused on sports, and more representative of the positive community relations that truly hold their program together. We worked toward building a brand that read as friendly and nurturing, with rounded forms, illustrations, and playful colors, softening the often hyper masculine presentation of sports.
The logo for this event series uses the bold athletic font Sports Gothic and the symbol of the house or home-plate, which reflects the from-home nature of the events series, and plays on the athletic operations of the organization’s efforts. Rounded corners and a hand-drawn feel bring a friendly and personal touch.
